By-election

Finally Karimnagar and Bobbili by-elections over with out any major incidents.
I have been closely following the by-election news. Some (or many) of the things happened during this whole episode are disgusting one side and other side some things are quite interesting.
First, reason behind this by-election, reason for Bobbili election is OK but for Karimnagar KCR’s struggle for existence and so-called "referendum" is the reason for this by-election. So much time, money wasted for one man cunning political move. The money spent by political parties for campaigning might be surely many more times then what government spent to conduct this by-election. Directly or indirectly all this money will be from our pockets. KCR is responsible for this wastage.
One good thing is, the way Karimnagar voters exploiting the attention they got. The way they grilled the politicians who came to ask votes is really good. The way media covered these incidents will surely encourage the people to do the same in other elections too. Hope this will force our politicians to do some development in their constituency.
It is very disappointing to see only 57% voting in Karimnagar for the attention it got.
